SYNFEED was selected among the top proposals across Europe for its disruptive approach to animal nutrition: the development of fully digestible, tailor-made synthetic proteins through an interdisciplinary technological platform. This recognition highlights the transformative potential of SYNFEED’s vision—bringing together precision nutrition, protein engineering, biotechnology and sustainability to address one of the most urgent challenges in livestock farming.
Coordinated by the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV), SYNFEED is one of only two projects in Spain funded under this exclusive call, positioning UPV and the SYNFEED consortium at the forefront of innovation in livestock feeding.
By being part of the Pathfinder framework, SYNFEED not only joins an elite group of visionary projects, but also contributes to shaping a more autonomous, sustainable, and competitive future for animal feed in the European Union.
