SYNFEED presents the workshop “Smart Proteins: Transforming Precision Animal Nutrition”

During the event, researchers from the consortium will present the progress made by the SYNFEED project, an initiative funded by the EIC Pathfinder program that focuses on developing highly digestible proteins by combining precision nutrition, protein modeling, genetic engineering, and sustainable biofermentation. Its goal is to improve the efficiency of animal feed and contribute to more sustainable livestock systems.

The event will also feature an expert roundtable discussion bringing together representatives from academia and industry to discuss the challenges and opportunities facing the animal nutrition sector, fostering dialogue between research and practice.

The workshop is open to anyone interested in scientific innovation and biotechnological approaches to precision animal feeding.
